Jaguar’s prestige goes without saying, few brands can match the storied British manufacturer when it comes to style and performance. Our own recent survey, which analysed 47,000 warranty policies over a two and half year period, placed Jaguar in 26th place out of 33 car manufacturer, while this year’s What Car reliability survey - based on the feedback from over 18,000 car owners - ranked it the 4th least reliable brand.

How reliable are Jaguar’s top models?
XF
In many ways Jaguar’s impressive executive model exemplifies the manufacturer’s reliability issues. In some respects, the XF represents a clear attempt to match the build quality and refinement of Germany’s top luxury car brands and owner feedback is generally enthusiastic, but despite such positives, reliability issues persist. What Car’s luxury car reliability survey named the XF the least reliable car in its class, noting that newer models seems to be particularly prone to failure. Electric issues emerged as the most common problem.
F-Pace
Jaguar’s entry into the high-performance SUV market has proved to be a commercial success and the F-Pace is now Jaguar’s best-selling vehicle. Reliability is again an issue however. Indeed, it recently topped the Consumer Report’s list of least reliable cars.
